Delivering the Goods is a "follow your dreams" comedy about Steve, a first generation Italian-American wishing to become a head chef against his father's blue-collar judgment. Unfortunately, Steve doesn't have a culinary degree, so his dream quickly hits a brick wall and in order to pay the bills, he takes a job with a package delivery service. Initially embarrassed by his new 9-to-5 existence, Steve soon learns there is more than one way to pursue your dreams and the answers to life's toughest questions are found when you stop looking for them. I could relate in some ways to the movie standing up to your Father's expectations and forging your own path in life.
An inspirational Underdog story, overcoming family pressures and prejudices. Romance, bro-mance and some slap-stick to boot. A varied cast of characters all coming together to help and support someone's dream. If all communities were like this the world would be a better place.
My partner and I have watched it several times and can highly recommend this as a must see movie.
I hope you get as much enjoyment out of watching it as we did :-)
