Glenn Morris makes Tom a splendid offer as financial manager, but he feels honor-bound to remain loyal to Carlos, so vicariously ambitious Lynette uses her bedroom charms and, that failing, the lure of a red Porsche. Unemployed Andrew is falling into alcoholism, which wrecks his guy relationship. Bree recognizes the drama and tries everything to get her unwilling, equally resourceful son into an AA program. Complex emotions, not just Paul's bitterness, complicate Beth's dying wish that her liver should save Susan's life, but the neighborhood party goes on and humanitarian prison leave is granted. Growth And Tension In A Relationship
15 September 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Everything's Different, Nothing's Changed is the seventeenth episode of the seventh season of Desperate Housewives. It is filled with several character developments and events that will surely provide a lot of effect as the season finale comes to a close.

While Paul Young tries to prevent Susan from getting her kidney transplant,Lynette gets extremely mad upon hearing that her husband Tom passes up a lucrative job in order to work with his friend,Carlos. As for Bree, she is worried about Andrew's consumption of alcohol as it become more than normal. Finally,Gabrielle is surprised with Renee as she continues to hold a party in the neighborhood despite of the tragic suicide attempt that just took place at Wisteria Lane.

As I have said previously,a lot of things happened in this particular episode. We get to see themes about relationship as well as tension brought in married life particularly in Lynette's situation. Also,we get to see parental concerns expressed by Bree as she sees her son's alcoholism.Other themes were presented that the viewer may find really touching such as personal growth and relationships. Finally, there are also plot twists that one can or cannot see coming.Anyway,it was an enjoyable and entertaining episode.
