Peter Strauss and Johnny talk extensively about traveling in Europe. Strauss is an experienced traveler, while Johnny has recently returned from his first time in Italy. Strauss also talks about going to Spain, where he is well known due to the success of "Rich Man, Poor Man." He then describes staying in a first-class Paris hotel when the studio paid, and mentions that he is going to make his Broadway debut in the fall in "Einstein and the Polar Bear". When Carson suggests that if it is a hit he will be asked to stay long-term, Strauss says he plans to stay in California and is looking for a house to buy. The comedy segment is a sketch of Tarzan and Jane years later. Betty White plays Jane, Tommy Newsom is Boy. Victor Buono reads some of his humorous poems which have the theme of eating and weight. Betty White talks about her work with the LA Zoo and notes that they are going to have the only Koala exhibit outside of Australia, and that the plaza outside it is going to be named for her late husband.
