Desmond Miles returns to Renaissance Italy to follow the life of his ancestor Ezio Auditore. After seeing his home destroyed, Ezio travels to Rome in an effort to rebuild the Assassin Order and bring down the Borgia family, who rule the city with an iron fist. Along the way, the modern day assassins hope to discover the location of the Piece of Eden, or "The Apple" before the Templars find out first. Written by mallen92506

Is it just me or is this series becoming more and more ridiculous?

Now take nothing away from it, the gameplay is marvelous. Fighting has never gotten easier than in this game. The story is decent and in this one I did want to kill Cezare Borgia (mainly for the same reason why Star Wars fan boys want to kill Jar Jar Binks). However like all Assassin's Creed games the ending really sinks what could have been a great game.

It might be my suspension of disbelief but if you were to buy that under a Tudor period Roman church has under it what I'd expect to see out of TRON, for something like this then they've killed it stone dead (which is why I am going to quit playing). The ending might have been climactic if I was a fan but in all of these games I was just going through the motions.

Now this one is great in the respect that it brings humour to the table. The problem with the other Assassin's Creed games is that they took themselves WAY too seriously. For a fact the humour does bring my rating up for this game to actually make it my favourite of the series.

So this is an okay play through but nothing I'd call special. Hopefully this movie idea doesn't happen (They're fun games and all but I don't see them translating at all on the screen).
