Storyline

Greg and James are private investigators who specialize in uncovering adultery. James secures a lucrative job from Richard, an imposing military man back from duty who suspects that his wife is no longer faithful. It is business as usual, until Greg finds out that the woman they are following is his lover, Amy. Greg must wrestle with his love for Amy and his loyalty to James. He decides to turn Amy and himself in to Richard, only to find that James has beaten him to it. A scuffle ensues, and an infuriated and humiliated Amy snaps and gets a hold of Richard's gun, shooting Greg in his torso, before attempting to shoot Richard. Richard gets it away from her and calls an ambulance, taking the blame for the shooting and proving his love for Amy. James realizes that Greg has his priorities straight after all, and that their partnership is safe. Written by Anonymous

Trivia

The line toward the end of the film where the paramedic informs Greg his injury should be healed in "a week or two" was later changed to "a month or two" after it was revealed at test screenings that a week or two was too quick of a recovery. Rather than bring the actor back in to ADR the lines the director decided to use his voice instead. See more »
