What is the true story of Adam and Eve?
n-kefala18 February 2011
The Phaidon and Vicky are successful marriage therapists and a happy married couple, until they meet a couple different from all others! For the first time they see how theirs 'successful' marriage is far away for a marriage truly fitting. This film includes everything. Humor, emotion, hyperbole, a murder and a rich cast of popular Greek actors. Focus on the original sin of Adam and Eve, this movie 'trying' to make a commentary especially on the problematic marriage, but also on bad relationships. Does not succeed, precisely because it does not actually saying anything new. However, while remaining on the surface, there is a sincere disposition towards the situations presented. The good performances of Kyriakides-Papoutsaki and Katsoulis-Lamprogianni, gaining audience, even when the jokes do not cause particular laughter and quotes are not so smart. On the positive side and the duet Starovas-Panagiotopoulos. In the second half, when the scenario has become less hysterical ... and is somewhat depressed, everything works better, the film is 'unsettled' and finds its rhythm. Result, a film that you spend nice time watching it, definitely will not give you answers and solutions but positively renew your appointment with the Greek cinema.

Almost Good
savvas17200715 July 2011
"To eteron imisi" was an almost good film. I just watched it and I found it good. Some moments made me laugh-it's a comedy after all-, some moments made me bored-it's a Greek comedy after all-, and some moments made me think of what I have to do today-it's a Greek commercial comedy after all-. The reason I'm writing this review is to mention the acting of those starring in this film. Krateros Katsoulis was average. I think that his character didn't help him show us his acting skills. Dafni Lamprogianni was good but not at her best moment. The character she had to turn into life was a good one, and her desperation was pictured pretty good-unfortunately not VERY good-. Vlademiros Kiriakidis was average, because his character was one-sided. The two kids starring were good, but we have seen more talented kids on screen. Foteini Tsakiri was awesome, but some moments mediocre. Last but not least let's talk about Katerina Papoutsaki. In my review of "I love Karditsa" I said that she could anything but an actress. I was wrong. Her acting in this film was very good. She may not be Meryl Streep but she was the only reason that can make you have a good time watching "To eteron imisi". So, well done Katerina!!!

The movie was amazingly funny !!!
greekcoincircle16 August 2011
This movie that we just watched was extremely funny. It revolves around the difficulties of marriage or long term relationships without yperboles (exaggerations). It actually revolves around everyday situations that everyone can relate too. The humor is natural and the laughter effortless and without cheesy lines. The four main characters act wonderfully without actual exaggerations and they make a great team. A movie that is worth time or money spending we still laugh thinking about it. Also you feel that with many aspects of the movie you can really relate if you are in a long term relationship. When it ends you feel cheerful that is a great achievement of the movie. Well Done A great movie , a great comedy !
