This is indisputable the worst movie I have ever watched (of course for a few minutes).

The concept was stolen from Hangover 2 except that its filled with disgusting and very stupid scenes.

Wonder where they got their actors cause I wouldn't want to be part of a production like this.

Should have a warning saying, "strictly poop lovers".

Also never watch while eating or if you pregnant.

To the producers, I'm sorry but you should try and do better things with your time.

Not worth anybody's time.

FIRST TIME-:::

this is my first time on IMDb review I FELT LIKE WRITING THIS IT WAS AWFUL ............. started with some silly things...it was the SICKest MOVIE i have ever seen.. WORST EVER...no story,pathetic acting...oh i shame calling this even acting...i felt now something will come up some story some plot will carry on from this moment... unfortunately that never came.....never ever# and it was an attempt to mix of some of the movie scripts together....#which was awful i must say it was not a good idea to waste time for this movie. IMDb bans who shouts but this one deserve shouting i don't know what was going through all the time during so called movie.... yeah i should stop even wasting time on writing this.

I've seen a lot of bad movies, but this one takes the cake. Low technical standards, bad acting, not to mention a over the top cheesy story. They took a lot of clichés from similar, a lot better road-trip movies, made it even more premature, topping it with some nudity. (As if it didn't look bad enough) I DID manage to sit this one through though, because I'm so used to the clichés that my brain tricked me into thinking it had some value. Without spoiling anything I can say that the ending pushed the stars from 2 to 3 for me. That and the boring female friend of the lead is hot in a non-sleazy way, so she saved the three as well. That being said, 3 is not a good grade. 3 sucks! This movie sucks! You might watch it through if you start it, but just because you get tricked. Don't see it. Please. Rather see some other road-trip-movie. Please..

I wish I could get back those 20 minutes

Yeah, only watched the movie for 20 minutes. It is the most disjointed, nonsensical film I've had the pleasure of starting in years.

To the executive producers who bankrolled this film: I hope that $750K was worth being an actor/actress in a feature-length presentation.

To the writer, Schitty: you should've stayed at LSU.

To the director: stick to accounting.

The first 6 scenes in this movie do nothing to set a stage or develop characters...they exists solely to push played-out jokes onto us (Porky's, etc). The transitions/editing is also pretty horrible.

Don't bother watching this film because you're curious. You'll regret any minute wasted...I do.

Absolutely one of the worst movies that I've had the displeasure of watching. Horrible writing. Terrible acting. Kept waiting to see if Anything would salvage it. No, nothing ever happened to help it along or help it get better. The premise has been used a thousand times, but usually a ton more successfully. A lot of times the scenes don't really go with each other, which also means there's little continuity. Worst of all? It's supposed to be a comedy. There weren't even slight giggling moments. It's not a drama, but it's not a comedy either. It's just a boring, grotesque, waste of time. Really wish I hadn't sat through it all. Know I'll never watch it again. Not even on a dare.

A comedy without the comedy...

Well, I must admit that I didn't really have much of any expectations for this 2013 movie titled "American Idiots", aside from it being a comedy and a road trip movie.

Turns out that this movie from director Robert Taleghany and writer Jeffrey T. Schoettlin wasn't really much of an entertaining movie. At least it failed to really entertain me and I actually didn't even laugh once throughout the course of the movie.

Storywise then "American Idiots" is as straight forward as it could possibly be, to the point of where it became generic and just predictable. And writer Jeffrey T. Schoettlin offered literally nothing in terms of making the storyline interesting, as it just cruised onwards on autopilot.

You shouldn't be setting yourself up for expecting a grand presentation of acting performances here in "American Idiots". Because you'll be sorely disappointed. I mean, some of the actors and actresses were adequate, while others were just downright out of their element and league.

There are far better comedies readily available of this particular genre of comedy.

I am rating "American Idiots" a mere three out of ten stars, and I can in all honesty say that I am not returning to watch this movie a second time.

Such bad film making

I really was beyond bored out of this world that I sat through the whole of this film.

It had the worst acting I'd ever seen. The kind you see in cheap ass porno flicks. The camera work was so bad and amateur. Most of the shots were so unimaginative, uninspired and zero hints of any form of creativity in it. All the characters had absolutely no dept. The worst part about the film is the script. Who ever wrote it, wow. All I can say, one of the worst scripts ever read on camera. Plain bland, unimaginative, overly simple and really really cheap dialogue. An all round disaster. Actually, now I want all 92 minutes of my life back.

It was an okay trip. I felt like one of the guys in the movie. I wish there were more hot chicks. It had some feeling to it too. The guy ends up with the girl. It was alright. It had its parts.

Whatever. It is what it is.

This movie is a mess

I love raunchy comedies, i love road trip movies, i even love when its over the top. But this one... almost nothing work. First of all the lead actor has the charisma of a broom, his delivery is terrible and you can never feel the connection the movie try to push with his female friend. That character at least has charisma and charm but due to the lead actor's "performance" their relationship never seem genuine, never work.

The movie bank on those "over the top situations" you usually see in movies like that but the problem is nothing is funny. There is a scene where a character got to go to the bathroom in the RV and somebody is there, some monolog happen and i just was almost screaming at my screen "can this scene just end?"

Honestly this movie has a similar overall plot than Going the distance, but that one is far superior on every side.

Even if like me you like raunchy comedies and are used to low budget DTV and enjoy them like me, its simply not worth it.

'American Idiots' Rocks!

Kudos to all filmmakers who make non studio backed films. 'American Idiots' is definitely meant for those who enjoy the guilty pleasures of raunchy movies. It's not for the faint of heart or for someone who's easily offended by potty humor. Could be a good "date" movie, if you're trying to find out, whether or not your significant other has a funny bone. If you liked 'Waiting,' 'Bruno' or Freddy Got Fingered,' then you'll love this movie!

Parents... You might want to enable the parental controls on this one! This film will most certainly fill-in the holes of your "birds and the bees" chat!

Uptight movie critic snobs... It's not a masterpiece, but it is a great way to forget about your life struggles for a while!

One of those stupid-funny movies

If you can get past the terrible acting, voicing and effects, it's not too bad. After half the movie I thought it was alright and some of it was pretty funny, by the end of the movie I liked it. I can watch it again and appreciate it more than I did the first watch through. This movie can not be taken seriously.

Some of the scenes don't seem fluid enough but for the most part you can stay on track with the movie. I think what really helps this movie is the homosexual guy (I can't remember his name), he is really funny.

It's definitely one of those movies that are so terrible and stupid but funny. If you can't stand B movies than avoid this movie like the plague.

SPOILER ALERT - this movie is tuuuurrrrrrible.

Hilariously bad, this is the perfect movie to do an 8-ball full of coke to before you paint the walls with the back of your skull.

A good drinking game to play while watching this movie is to take a shot every time the actors look directly into the camera or smile during a sad scene.

The plot is a big joke, the dialog hurts my soul and for a good part of the movie it's not entirely clear if the scene is supposed to satirical or not. It's as if a bunch of really top caliber actors got together and decided to make a movie *pretending* to be bad actors in a made- for-no-one TV movie special. The acting is so bad it almost looks on purpose.

None of the characters are likable, attractive or interesting.

Just a sad piece of film.
