Quotes
Jo Danville:
His story explains a lot. The plan to burglarize the office? Premeditated. That's why the security system was down. Scissors as a murder weapon, grabbed in a moment of rage. This murder was a crime of passion. Two separate crimes.
Detective Mac Taylor:
So, Alex was attempting burglary at the same time Westwick was killing Sarah.
Jo Danville:
Do you believe him?
Detective Mac Taylor:
I will, when we find the proof.

This episode marked the debut of "Jo Danville" (Sela Ward) who has taken the position formerly held by "Stella Bonasera" (Melina Kanakaredes) who is now the boss of a CSI in New Orleans.
Danville's first day on the CSI-New York job is pretty memorable, to say the least. About the first thing she comes across is a murder that took place in the CSI lab! Now that's a first, admits CSI boss "Mac Taylor" (Gary Sinise) The who's, what's and why's I'll leave for you readers when you watch this season, which just came out recently on DVD and how I am viewing it.
What is the new woman like? Well, "Jo" is pretty cocky, intelligent, bold, has a sick sense of humor and is very pretty. In other words, about what you'd expect out of female CSI agent on television. Ward is a mid-50s actress who certainly doesn't look her age.
