Trivia

On-screen George Burns stated that Fred Clark (the previous actor to portray Harry Morton) had left the show and was then-currently starring in a play in New York. The play was a Broadway production of "The Teahouse of the August Moon." In an interesting coincidence, this episode guest stars Joseph Kearns, who was also replaced by another actor for the same role--Mr. Wilson in "Dennis The Menace"--when he passed away in the middle of the series' run (the replacement was Gale Gordon). George Burns: I don't believe it.
Gracie Allen: There's something entirely different about Harry Morton this week. I finally figured out what it is. He never wore brown shoes before.
George Burns: Say goodnight, Gracie.
