Trivia

The character T-Brow, played by Tombstone Stinton, was taken from the 2007 student-short "Karaoke Night," which was also written and directed by Jason Michael Brescia. In that film, T-Brow, played by Stinton, had dreadlocks and sang Billy Joel songs with his best friend Clark, played by Brescia.

The character Renato, played by Renato Fambro, was not in the shooting script for the film. What occurred was that Fambro responded to a Craigslist add to be an extra in a scene that was shot at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa. Renato's positive attitude and college aged look caught the eye of director Jason Michael Brescia, and he invited Fabro back for the remainder of the shoot as Omega #10. Eventually Renato's role grew, while the scene Renato was an extra in eventually got cut from the movie.

The character Steak Mungro, played by Russell Sadeghpour, wasn't even in the shooting script. Originally, the character Hodges was supposed to be the one who crushes Rico's dreams in the flashback, however, when Kevin Myers (who played Hodges) had a last-minute schedule conflict the day the flashback was to be shot, Aziz filled in and Steak Mungro, the Omega legend, was born. The character was eventually written into the script so much that it only made sense for him to return at the Greek Board debate as Rico's foil.

Originally, the father was supposed to be Hemorrhoid, a character who later got cut. Another character that got removed from the script was Milkshake. Both of those characters were cleared to make way for Merkhaus, however, whenever first AD Sean Murray, and 2nd AD Wes Crandall stepped in as extras, they were referred to as Hemorrhoid and Milkshake respectively.

The baby montage was originally 10 different mini scenes with the Omegas and Kegston. Originally the scenes were filmed as "filler" in case there ever needed to be a cleaner transition. Brescia figured that at least one of the scenes would work well, but in post-production decided they worked best tied together.
