ITV thought they had stuck gold when they reunited old friends Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley to front this breakfast show. They were popular enough to carry it off and had already proved chemistry from presenting The One Show together. That was when the luck ended.
From the horrible set that looks like the ship from lost In Space down to the stupid games nothing works. The hosts banter feels forced and the fact that they are pretty much sitting on each other doesn't help. Viewers seem to agree and the ratings have fallen quicker than a rock being thrown into water.
Various format changes have been made in order to save this turkey but nothing is working. ITV bosses can't put their finger on the problem and with ratings continuing to fall they may not have much time in order to locate it.
