The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A woman and her adult son attend a party where older women smile at her son (he does not respond) and she tells men who try to speak to her to go away. As a woman drives a car, one bra strap shows slightly; as they pass a hitchhiker, she says, "Never pick up a hitchhiker. "They rape."

Visiting an old girlfriend with his mom, a man learns that the younger woman is married and pregnant her husband says that the pregnancy was the result of two Margaritas and the film "Love, Actually" and the wife describes how her old boyfriend proposed to her on a football field at high school and she turned him down. When andy and his mom are traveling she tells him not to pick up hitchhikers, telling him they could be "rapists"

Also there is a scene where they almost get in an accident on the highway and they pull over the mother says " hey look a topless bar" and the son says " no there isn't " then the scene goes right into the bar with strippers and music. No nudity is shown.

Violence & Gore

When Andy's mom is at a bar, a guy tries hitting on her and Andy steps in, only to get punched in the face. Afterwards, we see his face bruised and swollen, but it's very mild.

1 f-bomb, many uses of shit, as well as several uses of hell and damn. One paired with God.

Several scenes involve drinking, whether it's at a bar or not. Andy is seen getting drunk in a hotel room, and there is also drinking at bars. Andy's mom get's drunk at a bar when a man tries to hit on her, and she also get's drunk in Vegas at 7am. We don't see mass consumptions of alcohol, we just see the effects of it.

When Andy and his mom are in a hotel, Andy and his mom get into a huge argument, which can be seen as emotionally intense. Language is present, including 1 f-bomb by Andy's mom.

SPOILER: On his mother's advice, Andy does include in his pitch (1) discussion of how children and pets can be killed by poisoning from drinking household cleaners, and (2) a demonstration in which he drinks (from a glass) about a whole cup of his household cleaner (which is cocoanut, palm, and soy and is not poisonous).
