Storyline

Sir Cathcart introduces the dean to television reporter Cornelius Carrington with a view to making a programme which will vilify Sir Godber as a destroyer of British traditions and win sympathy for the college. Zipser panics when he realises he is stuck with four gross of condoms and blows them up like balloons,sending them up his chimney and into the night,where they cover the college grounds.Skullion sets about bursting them. Mrs. Biggs creeps into Zipser's room for sex,lighting a fire but this causes the condoms lodged in the chimney to explode and they are both killed whilst there are many injured students and much of the college destroyed. Sir Godber is angry with Skullion for not allowing the emergency services in until he has disposed of the contraceptives and at a meeting next day announces his most drastic cost-cutting exercise - large scale redundancies of college staff,starting with Skullion. If the dons do not agree with them he will shame the college by revealing how Mrs....
