A.J. Benza's gone, to be fair Gabe was doing everything; the commentary, analysis and the comedy, but it's better with someone to bounce things off and talk with. Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan at the table this season, it will be hard for anyone else to have much success with these two dominant players at the same time, only one new face to start with. Hellmuth limps with AQ suited, then calls a bet on the flop with nothing against Ivey and then mucks to Ivey's double barrel. Then Hellmuth raises with a worse hand AJ offsuit and Ivey wakes up with Queens and re-raises to 15000 and Hellmuth re-raises to 55000 which makes no sense and Ivey goes all-in and takes it. Hellmuth then flops a King high flush draw verse Antonio's Ace high flush draw and the flush comes for both of them on the turn, Phil doesn't raise though and avoids losing it all. The players are being pretty dirty towards Hellmuth, he raises it small pre and gets three callers and flops an open ended straight and flush draw, Ivey leads out with a King high flush draw and Hellmuth raises to 26000 and Ivey calls, the turn pairs Ivey's King and he checks, Hellmuth goes all-in and Ivey calls, Ivey wins the pot of 226200 and Hellmuth leaves. Hellmuth was very unlucky and everyone would of lost with the flush and flush and straight draw hands, but it's the hands in which everyone folded and it was him and Ivey in the blinds that made this appearance poor. He limped with a really strong hand in AQ suited allowing Ivey to see the hand for free, then compounded the error by calling a bet with nothing, then compounding it again by folding. Then because of that hand which he invested barely anything and shouldn't of cared, he raises it up the next hand with a worse hand, gets raised and in a spot that's just all-in and get lucky or fold, he chooses the third option and raise folds. I don't think I like this new interview stuff, would rather just see poker. Ivey keeps winning, flopping two sets in the one episode, newcomer Hoivold decides to re-raise with a pair below the board gifting Ivey more money. Ivey's up over 330000 in just the first episode.
