A great little coming of age indie film
1 June 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I saw it at SXSW in 2011. It is a a great little coming of age indie film. The main character, Stefan Daily, is half black, and half Latino. It is a comedy that pokes fun of and gives insight into the melting pot of our present day society. The director, Aaron Burns, gave a Q&A afterward that was great (To me, Q&A's are the best part of film festivals and if you ever have a chance to see film at one, I would highly recommend it). He said it was an "over-exaggerated biopic" if I'm not mistaken. I'm pretty sure a lot of the movie was filmed in Austin, TX and the surrounding areas. Give it a try, but remember it is an indie film and not a big budget blockbuster. Oh and ... Danny Trejo and Michelle Rodriguez make cameos!
