The final six episodes of season one were filmed a couple of months after the first six episodes were shot. For this later shoot, primary filming of Beausejour outdoor scenes was moved from Agassiz to Port Moody, which is 100km closer to downtown Vancouver where many of the interior scenes were shot. As a result, the Glick family store appears in two different locations with exactly the same facade. In the opening credits, it is shown located in Agassiz with a white building to the left of it, and the "Gardening" sign on the left side of the building. Partway through this episode, the store is shown in Port Moody, and Max runs into the building under the "Gardening" sign which is on the right side of the building.
