Here it is an interview with Harry Bromley Davenport on the movie that made him famous - Xtro. What does he think of it - he thinks it's garbage. he also goes into quite some depth when talking about this aw well as talking about the sequels. The exact words he used to describe Xtro 2 is "It defines artlessness", but he didn't think Xtro 3 was that bad (and neither do I actually).
I also laughed when he was talking about some of the conditions he had to work in. The best out of the lot being how he worked with Jan Michael Vincent, who had to be read his lines and had to be shown where to look by Davenport... Why am I not surprised that they didn't like each other.
So if you want to see this interview... It is on the extras for the Xtro 1 and 2 DVD's (or you could just look at it on YouTube) and it definitely is worth it to see what the objectives were for each film, what the conditions he had to work under were and what he thinks of these movies.
