This August, Noel Clarke completes the trilogy that he started with Kidulthood and continued with Adulthood.

Collide Trailer And Poster Send Nicholas Hoult Careering Toward A Dark Past

25 May 2016 7:57 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

How far would you go for the one you love? That’s a tagline that’s been tethered to umpteen drama/thriller/crime flicks over the years, where a character is thrust into such a perilous situation that it leaves their significant other with little choice but to maneuver around a series of obstacles – both literal and figurative – to ensure their safety.

Another movie to hew close those hackneyed conventions is this summer’s heist movie Collide, an action-packed romp that finds Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road, X-Men: Apocalypse) in the role of Casey Stein, an Average Joe who is ready to risk life and limb to save his ailing girlfriend, Juliette (Felicity Jones).

In order to afford those astronomical medical bills for a kidney transplant, Hoult’s protagonist returns to a life he thought was far behind him – smuggling precious cargo for a group of powerful mob bosses. »

‘Collide’ Trailer: “Who Could This Foolish Man Possibly Be?”

24 May 2016 3:30 PM, PDT | Slash Film | See recent Slash Film news »

In Collide, Casey (Nicholas Hoult) must revisit his dark past to save the one he loves. That set up is very familiar, but Eran Creevy is a director capable of transcending tropes. Creevy’s sophomore effort as a filmmaker, Welcome to the Punch, is a story of hero and foe uniting, a potentially trite set up that makes for a […]

Both Felicity Jones and Nicholas Hoult are featured in two of this year's highly-anticipated movies, with Jones starring in December's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story while Hoult reprises his role as Beast in this weekend's X-Men: Days of Future Past. Fans will be able to see them both on the big screen together later this summer in the new thriller Collide. As we get closer and closer to the August 19 release, Open Road Films has debuted the first trailer and poster, which asks "How far would you go for the one you love?"

After a heist goes terribly wrong, Casey Stein (Nicholas Hoult) finds himself on the run from a ruthless gang headed by mob boss Hagen (Anthony Hopkins). Now Casey has precious cargo that belongs to Hagen, who will stop at nothing to retrieve it. Left with no choice, Casey calls his former employer and drug smuggler Geran »

We’ve seen a handful of international trailers already for “Collide,” and to be honest, they haven’t been that impressive. But now comes the U.S. promo for the action flick, that adds more story and romance to what looks like, at best, a B-movie distraction. Read More: Review: ‘Welcome To The Punch’ Is A Stylish & […]

Nicholas Hoult And Felicity Jones Floor It In New International Trailer For 'Collide'

27 April 2016 5:16 AM, PDT | The Playlist | See recent The Playlist news »

Shot way back in 2014, there has been little heard since about "Collide" — formerly known as "Autobahn." The latest from director Eran Creevy ("Welcome To The Punch") is a full-throttle action flick starring Nicholas Hoult and Felicity Jones, while Ben Kingsley and Anthony Hopkins bring some vintage flavor to the proceedings, and a new international trailer gives another little peek at what's coming.  Read More: Watch: Kristen Stewart & Nicholas Hoult Begin To Show Love In The First Clip From 'Equals' The premise for this one is fairly simple, with a young man forced to go on the run from the job after a heist goes wrong. He hits the autobahn with some flashy vehicles to make his escape, while enlisting the help of his drug smuggling former employer to protect his girlfriend from the mob.  "Collide" will open on October 30th in the U.S. via Open Road. »
