Plot Summary

  • Bob, who lost his wife, Helen, some time ago, responds to a telephone personal ad at his brother's urging. He has no connection with his date, Maureen, though, and decides to take himself off the dating market. He explains his reasoning on his telephone personal site with references to his late wife's favorite poem, Keeping Quiet, by Pablo Neruda.
