Out of the past comes danger and death
31 October 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Two of the team's colleagues are murdered in terrible ways by the use of artifacts. Someone is out for revenge against Artie for something that happened in the old days when Artie was a spy in the Soviet Union. H.G. Wells shows up and tries to convince Myka that she be reinstated as a warehouse agent. Artie a has a rift with Myka over this meeting with Wells which Pete tries to smooth over. The team heads to Russia to find the culprit and retrieve the artifacts - a venture in which Wells plays a key roll. The side story of Claudia trying to reconnect with Todd is a good one but is completely overshadowed by the riveting main story line. The episodes featuring Wells are always very good and this is a superior episode. Rubinek as Artie really shines in this one. His is the character that is the core of the series.
