Aaron McGruder wanted this episode to be the season premiere but Turner executives were concerned about the potential controversy and it aired later in the season. In the original script, "Winston Jerome" was actually named Tyler Perry but executives ordered it changed. McGruder changed it to a similar name but was told to change it to something completely different. See more »
