The gals save a sloppy porno
2 February 2016 | by (New York, New York) – See all my reviews

Assembly-line Penthouse porn video "Sex Obsessed" has big names like Asa Akira and India Summer on hand to save the day.

Tired format has Carmen McCarthy as hostess introducing the five vignettes with meaningless descriptions and the familiar bait & switch

  • she remains clothed throughout and never gets down. Sloppy production
has her introduce Penthouse Pet Shawna Lenee's character clearly as Ellen, but in the vignette she's repeatedly, and not surprisingly for porn, called Shawna.

Segment contents are random, giving the entire video an unnecessary generic aspect. Marcus London as Rick narrates how he likes two girls at a time, so he gets to hump Asa Akira and bountiful Nikki Sexx together. Video has virtually none of auteur Cash Markman's usual attempts at humor, but he can't resist having Marcus clutch at his chest after delivering the money shot, not dying of a heart attack but rather announcing "This is the way I want to go".

Evan Stone as voyeur confronted by neighbor Diana Doll with the accusation of spying on her is a slipshod vignette in which even Stone's vaunted improv skills fail the test. Markman muffs this sequence entirely by omitting the binoculars peeping entirely, picking up the action after Doll has stormed into the guy's apartment to accuse then contradictorily hump him.

Jennifer Dark humping bartender Danny Mountain is well-photographed on an attractive set, but pointless. Likewise is the finale with India Summer who says "I like to be doubly bad", cuing a three-way with Johnny Castle and Nick Manning.

As Jean-Paul Sartre used to say, "la vie n'a pas de sens".
