John Cena is out to start the show . He says they all have one-common goal, and that's to end Nexus. Cena uses some corny forced humor, before Jericho interrupts. Jerico says he was counting the minutes until he knew what he would eventually say, and that this is Cena's team. He says all week-long he's been told by people that they are glad he's on Cena's team, and are so glad he's changed his ways. He says he didn't get involved to bask in the glory of the hero or to shamelessly pander to a group of parasites. He got in this due to his problems with Nexus and Wade Barrett. He says he knows Wade and Nexus better than Cena, so that makes it his. Cena sarcastically remarks that the team is sold to Chris Jericho. He tells Chris to do whatever he wants. The Liontamers, The Fozzyathon. Cena doesn't care, he just wants to beat Nexus. Jericho tells Chris not to patronize him, the team lives or dies on Jericho's whims. Cena knocks the Mic out of Jericho' hand, and says it's not about either of them, it's about Nexus. Cena says Jericho's essential to this team, and mocks Jericho's saying of "Do you understand what I'm saying" Jericho says not to knock the Mic out again, and says Nexus isn't the only threat it's John Cena. Jericho says he's a lot more like Nexus than he thinks, only he does it with the support of these drones. Jericho says once he's through with Nexus, he's gonna take out the other threat, Cena. The GM says the match at Summerslam will be an elimination match. Tonight there will be a preview of 7 Raw superstars, Vs. The Nexus team. He says Jericho and Cena well team up tonight, and the GM says if they aren't down with that, he's got two words for them. Solid segment here, with Cena's corny humor thankfully toned down. Him and Jericho did good work.

3/5

Randy Orton Vs Jey Uso. Great pop for The Viper. Certainly competent, but mainly used to put over Orton. Orton wins with the RKO. Jimmy Uso attacks Orton from behind, but Sheamus accidentally nails Jimmy instead with the Brogue kick...RKO!. Here comes Miz, he's cashing in. Orton bails and gets out of the ring. RKO to Miz!. Excellent booking with Orton's character, keeping his Tweener characteristics alive, and continues to build with Miz. I'm excited about this 3-way Feud.

3 1/2 /5 for the aftermath.

Edge is in the back. He tells Ted Dibiase he can't wait for Summerslam, but wishes Ted was on the team. He says Khali is uncoordinated and clumsy. Dibiase says Cena will open his eyes, and see Ted deserves to be on the team, after he beats Morrison tonight. Edge says good or he will have to take Khali out himself. Rajin Singh overhears it all. Rather average segment.

2/5

Sheamus and Miz randomly start arguing, until the GM reveals that they will team tonight, to face Jericho and Cena. OK...than. Interesting concept, but too random for my liking.

1 1/2 /5

Edge is on the phone in the back, Khali comes in and starts shouting. Singh says he heard what Edge said, and told Khali. Edge blatantly fibs and says he never said those things, and respects Khali. Khali says he's a nincompoop. Khali says he's challenging Edge right now. Edge says if he wins, Khali is off the team. Corny and stupid, even if Edge cracked me up.

1 1/2 /5

Khali vs Edge. Not really even a match, as Nexus interferes while Edge bails through the crowd. Khali bails himself. Odd, odd booking here. Khali is 7-feet, surely he could handle himself?.

0/5

Elimination Match.

Nexus Vs Mark Henry, Evan Bourne, Goldust, Yoshi Tatsu, Jerry Lawler and Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty. Nothing more than a squash basically, to put Nexus over.

1/5

Miz is in the back with Sheamus. Sheamus complains that its been two weeks in a row now that he's tried to cash in. He says Miz is dreaming, and it's never gonna happen. Miz says he can. Sheamus says to name a time and place. Miz says tonight and immediately after they face Cena and Jericho. Miz says once Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment and Jericho hits the Code-Breaker, Miz will cash in. Sheamus tells him not to push him or he'll regret it. He knocks the briefcase out of his hand. Great stuff here. Nice to see two aggressive heels have a segment.

3 1/2 /5

Brie Bella Vs. Alicia Fox. Another crappy women's match, but not as bad as most of them have been lately. Alicia wins. Jillian sings a bit, but Alicia hits the Axe-kick on her.

1/5

R-Truth is out for commentary.

Ted Dibiase Vs John Morrison. Average stuff here, very disappointingly so too. This feud failed tremendously I must say. Truth took Dibiase's feet of the ropes, but it didn't work. Dibiase wins. Morrison and Truth argue, as Cena looks on shaking his head in the back

2/5

Randy Orton tells Josh if he was paying attention, he gave the RKO to Sheamus before Miz. He says it doesn't matter whose champion, he will become the WWE Champion.

Miz and Sheamus Vs John Cena and Chris Jericho. Good main-event here, it was nice to see things freshened up. Jericho played an effective face during this match as well. The heels win, when Jericho hits a Code-Breaker on Cena letting the heels pick up the win. The face team starts arguing heavily to end the show. Khali even no sells Edge's spear.

3/5

Bottom line. Lot of solid stuff here, to at least make this a worthwhile watch. Just get past a lot of the stupidity.

6/10
