It's been nearly four years since the final Twilight movie, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, hit theaters, bringing the cinematic franchise to a close. There had been rumors that the vampire franchise would continue on the big screen, but nothing has ever been confirmed. Today, it seems we're no closer to seeing a new Twilight movie than we were four years ago, but Lionsgate co-chairman Patrick Wachsberger recently revealed it's still "a possibility."

The five-movie franchise earned a whopping $1.3 billion at the domestic box office and $3.3 billion worldwide. During an interview with Screen Daily, Patrick Wachsberger revealed that it's certainly possible that this beloved franchise could continue in some way on the big screen. Here's what he had to say below, revealing that it's really up to author Stephenie Meyer regarding the franchise's continuation.

"It's a possibility. Not a certainty but it's a possibility. It's about Stephenie Meyer. »
