Storyline

While Miles' cooking leads to a ruined dinner, Romeo is far more disappointed by his mother's guest Palmer's fight with Tony. After the odd couple sets off, ending up in bed together, Romeo apologizes to 'cheated-at' Gina and offers his help. Penn Graham, who enjoys re-watching Alf's TV-testimony, arrives and moves into a caravan until further notice.

"Will you stop blaming your mum for everything?"

There's some really good stuff in this episode and also some rather frustrating stuff.We start off with a flashback to the opening episodes of the season before dealing with the arrival of the mysterious Penn. The scene of Irene and Marilyn getting hot under the collar at their first meeting with him is rather amusing, the scenes of Nicole drooling over him when he's far too old and sinister for her, less so.She does this sort of thing at least once a season and it always end in disaster.

Meanwhile, despite some odd comments from John about how nothing's happened between him and Gina, the idea of him being stuck in the middle of a love triangle with her and Jill is utterly hilarious.And making it even better is the fact that both Miles and Nicole realise it's utterly hilarious and spend the entire episode barely able to control themselves.Romeo is annoying when he insists on criticising Jill for everything although we do at least get an explanation for it. The unlikely alliance between him and Gina could well pay dividend in more ways than one.
