If you are a German or live there that is. Or if your country/people have a similar cultural background. It seems to really hit off with people, because it does aim for the "Zeitgeist" of now. Like how relationships are right now. The males will identify with the problems the male protagonist has and the females the same with the female lead, of course. But is is that simple?
It does seem to be. And frankly you could also be bothered by quite a few things. There are clichés (unavoidable it seems), but the weird characters make up for it (if you find them at least partly engaging, which is not a given). A weird relationship movie, with an equally weird attraction to it.
