Now You See Me 3 is gearing up to roll cameras this year and Dominic Sessa, Justice Smith and Ariana Greenblatt have joined the cast.
Now You See Me 3 is coming out way sooner rather than later as Jesse Eisenberg confirmed that cameras would roll sometime this year. The sequel has been in the works for years, but it seems that it’s truly happening now.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa and Ariana Greenblatt have joined the ensemble cast. Their roles, like the film’s plot, is still being kept under wraps, but one would imagine they might play a new generation of magicians.
Eisenberg seems to be on board and the previous films’ cast, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson and Morgan Freeman are also expected to reprise their roles, but this hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.
Now You See Me 3 will be released by Lionsgate.

Actors and actresses have their own most liked and disliked moments in their projects they become a part of, which can oftentimes, be the complete opposite of what the fans think about the same. For Daniel Radcliffe, the moment was the iconic ‘7 Harrys’ scene.
This particular scene, which was introduced in Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows – Part One, became a fan favorite since it featured Radcliffe doing different takes in different outfits of other characters.

But according to the actor himself, he revealed that it was probably one of his lesser loved scenes to shoot for his role as Harry Potter in the franchise because it was exhausting. On the other hand, he was also excited while shooting this segment because he got to realize how he could easily play the role of Emma Watson’s Hermione Granger while he wore ladies’ clothing.

In the past, many actors have gone to extreme lengths to play a character or prepare for a role they were offered to make the most of the opportunity. For Jesse Eisenberg, that length was going full monkey mode and playing the role of Sasquatch.
In fact, the initial release and clips from his film Sasquatch Sunset has turned the eyes of almost everyone to the project, who cannot wait to witness this film in theaters soon.

But even when people are impressed with what the star has done in this surreal comedy film, it seems like a different species of audience member didn’t feel the same. In an interview, Eisenberg revealed that he once showed this film to a Bonobo monkey named Kanzi, who is considered the smartest ape, who had a very strong reaction to his character in the film.

Now You See Me Part 1 and Part 2 are liked by almost everyone, and Fans are waiting for Part 3 of the movie and I’m one of them.

Several years later, news of the third installment seems to again be making headlines. Here’s everything that we know about it!
The debut movie was a glossy thriller that involved an excellent team of magicians called ‘The Horsemen’ who were renowned for pulling off daring heists using their skills of illusion, hypnosis, and sleight-of-hand.

Proving that time itself is a dark illusion, it’s now over a decade since the original Now You See Me materialised in cinemas. Back in 2016, Lionsgate gave the green light to a third Now You See Me film — before the second one had even hit theaters. Now that the sequel is out (and seven years old), the production company is finally moving forward with Now You See Me 3.
Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Chair Joe Drake announced the news during an investors call this week. He also confirmed that Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer was onboard to helm the project.
Drake described the forthcoming installment as a “reimagining” of the first two films, with production set to begin next spring.
The first Now You See Me, released in 2013, starred Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, and Morgan Freeman. Directed by Louis Leterrier, the film centered on a group of justice seeking, bank robbing magicians being followed by the FBI. Jon M. Chu helmed the sequel, which arrived three years later.

Fans of the action and heist genres have something to look forward to, as two popular franchises are getting ready to release their next installments. Here is what we know so far about Now You See Me 3 and John Wick 5.
Now You See Me 3
The Now You See Me franchise follows a group of magicians known as the Four Horsemen, who use their skills to pull off elaborate heists and expose corruption. The first two movies, released in 2013 and 2016, were box office hits, earning over $680 million worldwide1.
A third movie was announced in 2015, before the release of the second one, and was supposed to be shot back-to-back with it. However, due to various factors, including the busy schedules of the cast and the studio’s concerns over the profitability, the production was delayed2.

It’s a lean month for new original content on HBO/Max. November will see the return of two scripted series in Julia and Rap Sh!t, both of which are debuting their respective second seasons, but this month’s fresh highlight is likely to be Bookie, a new comedy series from the partnership of The Big Bang Theory creator Chuck Lorre, and Nick Bakay. The show tracks an LA bookie called Danny (Sebastian Maniscalco), whose business is in peril as California movies to legalize sports gambling.
Elsewhere in November, there quite a few interesting documentaries to keep an eye on, and two that jump out as “must watch”. The first is Albert Brooks: Defending My Life, which chronicles the aging comedian’s life and career. The second is the previously-released Little Richard: I Am Everything, which tries to peel back the whitewashed canon of Richard Penniman in a true...

The Now You See Me films brought a new twist on the heist movie concept by making the team a group of magicians who were able to use their sleight-of-hand expertise in their plans. Though the films haven’t broken the box office, they have become a humbly successful franchise from Lionsgate, and both movies have been able to showcase an incredible ensemble cast. The director of action films such as this summer’s Fast X, Louis Leterrier, helmed both movies and brought a certain amount of fun with some of the more outrageous logic. However, Ruben Fleischer, who directed the movie’s stars Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg in the Zombieland movies, will be stepping in the director’s position for the third entry.

It's been 41 years since "Cheers" premiered, and 30 years since it's ended. Although other popular sitcoms like "The Bill Cosby Show" and "Newhart" gave it a run for its money, it's clear by now that "Cheers" has most effectively withstood the test of the time. When the average person thinks of '90s sitcoms, they think of "Friends" or "Seinfeld," but when you ask them to name a sitcom from the '80s, "Cheers" is almost always the first to come to mind.
It helps that so much of the "Cheers" cast has continued to have a major presence in pop culture long after the finale, even if they haven't all returned to the sheer height of popularity they had back in the '80s and early '90s. Even many of the actors who have passed away in the years since, like Kirstie Alley who died of stage four colon...

Sir Michael Caine has confirmed he is officially retiring from acting.
The Oscar-winning actor made an appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Today talk show to discuss his upcoming and now-final film, The Great Escaper. The Warner Bros. movie is based on the true story of World War II veteran Bernard (Bernie) Johnson, who, in the summer of 2014, snuck out of his nursing home to attend the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy, France.
“Funny enough, I’d retired when I was sent the script, and I turned it down three times, but I kept falling in love with him every time I read it, and so I did it,” Caine said on the radio show of William Ivory’s script. The film is directed by Oliver Parker and co-stars the late Glenda Jackson.

The highly-anticipated spin-off “The Continental: From the World of John Wick” premiered Friday on a streaming platform some in the industry would find surprising.
What makes the show stand out — apart from its miniseries format, comprised of three movie-sized episodes spread across three consecutive Fridays (a callback to television events of yore) — is the fact that the prequel, spun off from one of the crown jewels of the Lionsgate portfolio, landed on the NBCUniversal-owned streamer rather than on Starz, Lionsgate’s own premiere cable channel and streaming platform.
The question remains: Why?
The show takes place in New York in the 1970s, but exists in the same shared, blood-splattered universe where, decades later, Keanu Reeves’ John Wick would go on a roaring rampage of revenge.
Basil Iwanyk, founder of Thunder Road Films, the production and financing company behind “John Wick” and “The Continental,” said the decision to move the...

Producer Erik Feig could have been describing “SuperBad” or “Good Boys” when he outlined his new movie to Universal, pitching them on backing his mid-budget film with a detailed slideshow that included everything from ideas for TikTok promotions to potential merchandising. “This is a raunchy, cinematic comedy with heart, about finding your people and your purpose,” a slideshow for the Picturestart founder’s new project, “Strays,” read. After all, this is the man who made Jason Statham an action star in the first two Transporter movies and directed the best English-language Jet Li movie, Unleashed (aka Danny the Dog). He also made one of the first proper MCU movies (The Incredible Hulk), the smash hit Clash of the Titans remake, and Now You See Me. So, when Justin Lin quit the franchise, Universal needed someone who could jump in and pick up the pieces quickly, and Leterrier did such a good job he’s already been signed to direct Fast X – Part 2.
In our exclusive interview, Leterrier discusses the franchise’s future, including what he knows of the Hobbs-centric spin-off. He goes into the fact that the plan had always been to include Dwayne Johnson’s Hobbs,...

Just under 24 hours before Warner Bros. Discovery releases its latest quarterly earnings, they can at least boast that they have the summer’s biggest-grossing movie in North America.
With $381.7 million in 12 days, the Greta Gerwig blockbuster “Barbie” passed “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” on Wednesday to become the biggest summer earner in domestic grosses.
The Margot Robbie/Ryan Gosling film has also passed $800 million in worldwide earnings. By Wednesday night, it will pass “Wonder Woman” ($821 million) and soon pass “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” ($837 million) to become this summer’s biggest global earner and the year’s second-biggest title behind “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” ($1.35 billion). That milestone should arrive Wednesday or Thursday.
It marks the first time Warner Bros. has ruled the summer, domestically at least, since “Wonder Woman” in 2017. It’s also just past the unadjusted $381 million total of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.” It now ranks as Warner Bros.

With Hollywood largely in lockdown due to two historic strikes and studios digging in their heels for what’s increasingly looking like a many months-long war of attrition, sensitivities amid the union ranks have never been higher.
So when an executive producer and writer for Netflix’s The Witcher tweeted about the show’s new episodes, it’s perhaps unsurprising the comments received blowback.
“Today i was accused of scabbing for posting about, and showing the title card and promo for #TheWitcher – which i did of my own volition and not at the request of my corporate overlords – and for engaging with fans of the show,” wrote TV veteran Javier Grillo-Marxuach. “While my actions are completely within the guild’s strike rules as you can see below, i can also understand how they can offend others and appear as a lapse in solidarity … so i’m taking my posts down.
