The features are: Drew Bolduc‘s hotly anticipated Science Team, the follow-up to his masterful exercise in offensiveness, The Taint; the acclaimed penile documentary The Final Member by Jonah Bekhor and Zach Math; Olivier Beguin’s new twist on vampirism, Chimeres; and the fighting cannibal action of Evil Feed by Ray Smith.

The short films include international offensiveness and gore from such far-flung places as Italy, Belgium, Estonia, Australia and, of course, the good ol’ U.S. of A.

First Official Trailer for Science Team is Ready for Your Approval

If you haven’t heard me drone on and on about directors Drew Bolduc and Dan Nelson’s “The Taint,” then you haven’t spent a lot of time ready my silly words on the internet. I adore the movie with a weird passion that probably makes everyone involved with the flick a little uncomfortable. Which is okay, of course, since I tend to make people uncomfortable on a regular basis. After working on the special effects for Lloyd Kaufman’s “Return to Nuke Em High,” writer/director Drew Bolduc put together a potentially nifty flick called “Science Team.” I’ve waited patiently for this sucker to arrive, and it appears that day is getting closer by the second. In fact, we now have an official trailer to feast our eyes upon. Before we get to that, let’s explore the official synopsis: Chip returns home to find his mother

It’s Time to Get Excited About Drew Bolduc’s Science Team All Over Again

If your excitement for writer/director Drew Bolduc’s “Science Team” has dwindled due to a lack of updates, it’s time to inject some extremely sticky excitement into your cinematic backside. The man himself recently sent over a brand new poster for the upcoming sci-fi flick. According to the filmmaker, the movie is almost in the can. Squeal with delight if you want to. I’m trying my best to hold one back right now. In case you’ve forgotten, “Science Team” is the follow-up to Bolduc and Dan Nelson’s cult favorite “The Taint.” If you haven’t seen this delicious slice of low-budget brilliance, then you should seriously consider correcting that problem soon. Very soon. Maybe by this weekend. That’s your homework. This Nsfw teaser should help set the proverbial stage. Here’s what the flick is all about: “Science Team” is a completely independent sci-fi

Beyond Fright: Hilarious Team Behind The Taint Returns With Science Team!!

2012′s The Taint was a fresh breath into the exploitation genre, with its hilarious story (tainted water turning men horny, aggro, and making them ready to kill) and incredibly impressive special effects done by co-director Drew Bolduc. After taking a break to handle SFX on Troma’s Return To Nuke ‘Em High Vol.1, Bolduc and co. are back with Science Team, which looks equally ambitious. If Science Team is even half as sleazy or entertaining as The Taint was, then you can definitely sign me up!

Science Team is an epic and completely independent feature film created by Buncom Media International. The film was partially funded by crowd-sourcing through Indiegogo and is a great example of how high-quality films can be created with a micro-budget.

Bucom Media International is an independent film production studio formed in 2012 and based in Richmond, Virginia. It was founded by Drew Bolduc (co-director and writer

First Promo Video for ‘Science Team’

The director-writer, Drew Bolduc of The Taint is back and with his sophomore feature Science Team. The first promo has just been released, which you can see below.

Chip returns home to find that his mother has been brutally murdered. A sessile space alien is now living in her house. Science Team must eliminate the extraterrestrial threat. Drama ensues. People die. Inner and extraterrestrial demons are engaged. Men in pink suits use cool-looking technology. Events culminate in a destructive orgy of violence of such an epic intensity that people’s minds are literally blown out of their heads.

Fund This Film: Sci-Fi Horror Feature ‘Science Team’ Pits Hot Chicks Against Aliens

While not a universally loved horror flick, The Taint got a nice little push from our own Rob Hunter last month when it hit DVD. Now I’d like to extend the support for one of its directors, Drew Bolduc. I don’t know him, I haven’t seen any of his films, but something tells me he could very well be the next guy associated with Troma Entertainment to wind up a big deal. Just don’t be surprised if he directs Guardians of the Galaxy 2 or anything. He’s already working with aliens in his next feature, Science Team, which is currently raising money by crowdfunding via Indiegogo. And the promo video Bolduc sent us this morning makes me think its not just “a bastard child of science fiction and horror” but also the illegitimate offspring of James Gunn and Wes Anderson. But I don’t have any idea what the end result will be

The Science Team Indiegogo Trailer is Damn Near Perfect

Full disclosure: I am a ridiculously huge fan of Drew Bolduc’s “The Taint.” The film scarred my soul in ways few films have, and I feel that I’m an altogether better person for having viewed it. Even if you hate the movie with every fiber of your well-adjusted being, you can’t say it didn’t have some sort of effect on you. Curious parties are invited to investigate my review. To say that I’m excited for “Science Team” is an understatement. The film has claimed the top spot of my must-see list, surpassing just about every other motion picture on the planet. The “Science Team” gang has put together a nifty trailer for their new crowdfunding campaign. It’s weird, it’s engaging, and it asks you bluntly for your money. In short, it does exactly what an Indiegogo trailer is supposed to do. Now cough up the money.

Troma brings you The Taint!!

Troma Entertainment, in conjunction with C.A.V. Distribution is set to release the Drew Bolduc/Dan Nelson film The Taint onto DVD beginning March 12th. Yeah, you read that right, The Taint. Personally, I’m a fan of some of Troma’s stuff, but mostly the stuff that they make themselves, the films they pick up and distribute are really hit or miss, with the exception of last year’s Awesome Astron-6 film Father’S Day, which potentially could’ve been a new era for Troma had they and Astron-6 ended their collaboration on good terms. With all of that being said though, The Taint actually looks pretty fun, from the retro-like cover to the synopsis, it definitely has that Troma feel.

“The water is tainted. The Taint poisons the minds of men. It turns them into raging misogynists: monsters who want nothing more than to crush women’s

Watch Drew Bolduc and Dan Nelson’s Horror Classic The Taint for Free. Right Now!

I’m not joking when I say that directors Drew Bolduc and Dan Nelson’s deliriously deranged 2010 horror masterpiece “The Taint” is one of my all-time favorite horror movies. The film blew mytiny mind in much the same way “Street Trash” did back in the 80′s. I love it to death — Love It — and I’m always quick to recommend it to those with, shall we say, questionable taste in cinema. Naturally, I’m quite excited to announce that, for one week only, “The Taint” is available to watch for free. That’s a gift, my friends, selfless and pure. Unfamiliar with “The Taint”? Let’s fix that problem: The water is tainted. The Taint poisons the minds of men. It turns them into raging misogynists: monsters who want nothing more than to crush women’s heads with rocks (or other objects). When society is transformed into a land of sadistic violence and horrible brutality,

Troma get Taint-ed

Lloyd Kaufman and the gang over at Troma have announced that they have picked up the world wide rights for Drew Bolduc and Dan Nelson’s sleaze-fest The Taint. President of Troma Entertainment and creator of The Toxic Avenger Lloyd Kaufman describes The Taint as:

I cannot exactly describe what happened in The Taint because it would not be appropriate for a normal publication or television review. However, I can tell you that it will be a long time before I even consider placing a penis in my mouth again.

I’ve seen The Taint, and believe me it’s not for the faint of heart – it’s misogynistic, bizarre, gory and it’s full of men waving their flaccid penises around! Check out our Nsfw review here, and the official synopsis is below:

The water is tainted. The Taint poisons the minds of men. It turns them into raging misogynists.

The 2nd annual PollyGrind assaults Las Vegas during an epic length film festival that runs Oct. 8-17 at Theatre 7 with enough sleaze and violence to make Sin City residents feel right at home.

Actually, the fest does open up on the 7th with a concert at Neon Venus with local acts like Monster Zero, Creepersin and many more.

However, the film portion of the fest opens on the 8th with Stuart Simpson‘s acclaimed Australian gorefest El Monstro Del Mar!, one of the best Russ Meyer/Roger Corman mash-ups with a Down Under twist. Read the Bad Lit: The Journal of Underground Film review of this gem here.

Other Bad Lit favorites in the lineup are Drew Bolduc and Dan Nelson‘s The Taint, which is still completely grossing out audiences on the festival circuit, and The Uh-Oh Show, the splatter-filled horror comedy by the Godfather of Gore himself Herschell Gordon Lewis.
