When Abigail and Parker return from New York City to visit their home town, they discover that their best friend Rachel is a bridesmaid in the wedding of their childhood friend, Caitlyn, and Tony, who was Rachel's boyfriend until Caitlyn interfered. Abigail and Parker decide to run some interference of their own. They manipulate Caitlyn and become bridesmaids as well so that they and Rachel can sabotage the wedding from the inside. With help from a police detective who happens to be a groomsman, the girls strive to ruin Caitlyn's wedding while dodging her controlling mother and hopefully reuniting Tony and Rachel. I happened to catch this movie a while back and gave it a shot because I like Raven-Symone and Beth Broderick. Of course, with this movie you need to keep in mind that it's an ABC Family original movie, so it'd be silly to have high expectations.
Yes, I noticed a big issue 20 minutes before the characters did, and knew exactly how things would turn out for the bridesmaids halfway through the movie, but I still enjoyed it. No, the movie will probably not wow you. I honestly can't remember laughing a single time throughout (but I think the "Saw" movies are funny, so that probably says something.) The acting was fine, and the plot was just okay, but I did like the Raven and Joanna Garcia dynamic.
In my opinion, it was just a pretty standard ABC Family TV movie. If you enjoy this type, you'll probably like it. If not, you won't.
