After reading some of the positive reviews of this movie and as a Christian myself, I must say I was disappointed after watching this film. Especially in the way Jesus was characterized. This film portrays Jesus as a know everything nice guy who loves everyone. A Santa Claus type. While God is love, the movie never gets into who Jesus Christ really is and why Jesus came to Earth in the first place. You would think a movie about Jesus would deal at least a little bit with His life while He was here, about His death and resurrection and how that would affect people today but this movie doesn't really go there. A real "Encounter" with a resurrected Savior changes lives.
I thought the acting was okay. But the whole thing could have been better.
