Another great show for Smackdown, it's value is quickly rising.

Jack Swagger comes out. He basically wants people to suffer and agonize like he did when he lost The World Heavyweight Title. He says if he can do it to the World's Largest Athlete, he can do it to anyone. He shows the clip of him holding the ankle-lock submission on Show. He asks the people to see if they know what he's capable of, and that's what people should be talking about, not MITB. He says MITB is where the journey all started and he became the biggest star at Wrestlemania 26. Five days later he cashed in, and became everybody's World Champion. He whines that he was cheated, there were no rules, nothing to protect him. His Daddy was devastated. He can't talk, he barely eats, and nobody cares!. Out comes the Big Show to a big pop. He asks Swagger if he wants the Waaambulance|HA!|, or Big Show to buy him some French Cries|Inventive|. He says there are more important things to be upset about, like him being stuck in an elevator with Gas. Show says he hurt him, and even surprised him, but he should have finished the job. He begs Jack to try and put the ankle lock on one more time. Jack says he has nothing to prove to The Big Show. What he felt was The Ligament tearing from the bone, and he will do the same thing to Rey Mysterio at MITB. Big Show says Swagger is one delusional dude, and asks if these people want him as World Champion. He says Swagger can break his ankle and that's just a fantasy, but he knows he can break his Jaw. Show comes to get him some, but Dashing Cody attacks him from behind, clipping him on the leg. Rey saves the day, setting up a tag match later on in the night. Great segment here. Show was very funny and natural and I liked Swagger's vicious ways.

3 1/2 /5

Kane, Matt Hardy, Christian, Big Show, Cody Rhodes and Kofi Kingston have been selected as participants.

If Dolph wins, he becomes the #1 contender for The I.C Belt.

Dolph Ziggler Vs Kofi Kingston. Disappointing and average, considering these two are capable of more. Vince thinks an automatic pairing with Vickie will make them heel gold. Kofi wins, much to Ziggler's frustration, and Vickie's disapproval

2/5

Serena is worried about Punk's arm, but Punk tells her to let him handle the Kane situation. Punk says he has it under control, but Serena doesn't agree. Serena says it broke her heart to see Punk in the operating room.

3/5

Christian is on the Peep Show, with his guest Matt Hardy. Christian asks Matt how it felt for Drew to get deported and beat him last week. Matt says it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy|HA| Christian says it was nice to see Matt in the ring, and not get dropped on his head. Matt says throughout his career he has dealt with corporate politics and setbacks. Christian says Matt won't win MITB, while Matt says it's the match they made famous. Christian points out that neither one of them have ever won, and nobody deserves to win more than one of them. Christian says both deserve it, but he will win. Matt is glad that he's confident. He says Their careers have paralleled each others' in many ways. He says they've both won championships, they were both great ECW Champions, but a World Championship has eluded both of them. Christian says they're both confident, and that's a good thing. He says neither of them are Drew McIntyre. He is sick of Drew getting opportunity after opportunity, and not earn it. This is his chance, and he's going to do it. They get in each other's faces over the disagreements, but Matt hits a cheap shot on Christian, and throws him into the Ladders. Great segment here. A heel turn could be blooming for one of these men. .

3 1/2 /5

Albert Del Rio does another segment, very similar of the same stature of the week prior to this.

Cody feeds his ego by looking in the mirror by combing his hair, and bragging about what he did to Big Show

Kane Vs Luke Gallows. Too short and disruptive to mean anything of note. Match ends when the Hooded Stranger attacks Kane. Kane choke slams The Stranger, and goes to do the same to Kane. Serena begs Punk not to do it. She can prove that Punk is innocent, and not the one that is responsible for Taker. They play footage of Serena with a guy at a bar having shots and cocktails. Punk saves the day and berates The Bartender and chases the guy out. Kane lets Punk go convinced Punk is innocent. Punk looks at Serena disgusted and tells her to go away. Interesting story lines abound here, the potential is intriguing.

3/5

MVP Vs Chavo Guerrero. Nothing terrible, but another squash for Chavo basically, MVP wins.

1 1/2 /5

Kelly Kelly Vs Michelle McCool. Complete crap of course, I don't see what Kelly's done to improve her work rate, to be the #1 contender. Kelly wins with a roll up.

1/5

Rey Mysterio&Big Show Vs Cody Rhodes&Jack Swagger. Good stuff here, but again enough of Rey and Big Show teaming. Cody looked convincing for once, and Swagger's new character direction is brilliant, loved how he dominated Rey's ankle at the end. Faces win by DQ when Swagger won't let go of Rey's ankle.

3/5

Bottom line. Two weeks of great stuff from Smack Down. Raw should learn you don't need top stars clogged up on the show, to make a quality episode. Much better from Smackdown as of late.

8/10
