Various female characters are depicted in revealing clothing. Romance is a main theme, and it is more significant in the first season and the first half of the second season. There is kissing, although uncommon.

There is minor violence in all the episodes ("Scooby-Doo" type). It gets more intense in the second half of season 2. "The horrible herd" is one of the most violent episodes. There are 3 deaths. The 2 of them are on-screen. Cassidy Williams got drown, Nova died slowly after falling from a helicopter and Hot Dog Water was shot off-screenSome of them are very depressing.

A lot of name calling, but nothing to worry about.

In the beginning of the episode "The Wild Brood" there is some drinking.

This series is much darker than most Scooby Doo interpretations, with scenes where characters are threatened with death or face both real and supernatural threats much more intense than the usual "bad guy in a mask" routine from the classic series.
