Errors in geography

The film is supposed to be set in Washington State. However, in the beginning a train is shown crossing in front of the town and the crossing reads "RAILWAY CROSSING." In the United States all rail crossings are labeled " RAILROAD CROSSING." The film was obviously made in Canada.

Factual errors

When the sheriff arrives at the building with Julia in the back seat, she manages to escape from the car by easily opening it from the inside. Today's police cars are designed so that the suspect cannot escape regardless of whether or not the door is locked or unlocked; in such a way her the door can only be opened from the outside.

Revealing mistakes

When Julia (Jessica Biel) is attacked by the dog when she opens the door of the Tall Man's truck, you can clearly see the heavy protective padding on her arm.
