A strange bargain

Marchall Thompson plays here a Young man who, after visiting his doctor, refuses to tell his wife the true result of this visit. In the waiting room, he met a stranger - played here by John Doucette - and he sees him again a little later in a bar. The two of them discuss and Thompson tells his new pal that he will soon die. He couldn't tell that to his wife, but does it to Doucette. Doucette then proposes a strange bargain to Thompson. Doucette committed a murder an asks Thompson to declare himself guilty of this murder, in exchange of ten grands for his family. After all, according to the physician, Thompson is condemned to die. So he won't have anything to lose to accept...
