The expedition to the planet's surface is an a shuttle - it doesn't have a working gate - leads to tragedy and the death of a crewman. SGU Season 2 kicks off in Deep Dark Style
7 October 2010 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Stargate Universe Season Two is pulling out all the stops this time round. There was more than a hint of "character setting" in season one, and whilst correct and proper to do that, some would say myself included that some things dragged on a bit too much.

I love the track Season Two seems to going down. It's getting dark and getting deep. The story line so far is engaging and the cliffhangers do keep you coming back for more.

Robert Carlisle is excellent as usual, by far and away the most complex character of Dr. Rush which he plays with aplomb. The convergence of the battle for control is coming to a head in the next few shows and it is set to be impressive and addictive viewing again.
