Salma Hayek has admitted that life as a working mother is 'exhausting'. The 44-year-old actress - who has three-year-old daughter Valentina with husband Francois-Henri Pinault - has just launched her own affordable skincare range, Nuance. She has also wrapped up filming on comedy Here Comes The Boom, and said that she can't help but feel tired 24/7. Motherhood is 'all-consuming', she told USA Today. "And it's not temporary. I went out with my husband and my agent last night. They were making fun of me because I'm all the time, 24/7, 'Oh, I'm so tired.' "They were laughing. I was laughing, too, but inside I wanted to cry because I'm so tired. I'm so happy. Happiness is exhausting." Talking about her beauty range, she said that unlike some celebrities who simply put their name to a product, she has tried and tested every single item. "I've been working on this for years. »
Charice‘s upcoming movie Here Comes The Boom may be a comedy, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t a few frowns on set. “It was a little emotional when I did the last scene with Kevin James,” Charice told HollywoodLife.com on June 14 at NYC’s Bowlmore Lanes, where she was rallying support for the color orange in the Life Savers Gummies Flavor Vote.
“Kevin was just like, ‘Ok, Charice is done with the movie.’ And I didn’t know what to say…”

As blockbuster season 2011 gets underway, we glance forward a year, to check out the massive movies heading our way in 12 months’ time…
Each summer, it seems, gets more competitive. More and more sequels. More and more franchises. More and more money spent on massive, massive movies. This summer is no different, and with Thor and Fast & Furious 5 already bringing in some serious cash, it's shot out of the traps in some style.
However, not for nothing are many people casting an eye forward a year to what looks like the most competitive summer season on record. We're going by Us release dates here, to give some guideline, but here are the current runners and riders...
If you want proof that Hollywood is looking to extend the summer season into March, then the past few years provide it. The likes of 300, Sucker Punch and »
The actors are currently filming the new comedy on location in Massachusetts, and the set has been specially designed to reduce waste and help the planet.
Plastic water bottles have been banned along with non-biodegradable paper cups, costumes are sent to an environmentally-friendly dry-cleaner, and the set has been made using sustainable bamboo. Actors and crew members are also being encouraged to recycle.
A production spokesperson tells the Boston Herald, "We strive to reduce waste and recycle as much as possible. Eliminating water bottles reduces the transportation of those bottles and excess waste after use. Similarly, dry cleaning, energy generation and sustainable lumber are a focus due to their supply chain impacts." »
If you’re a Gleek with a special place in your heart for Sunshine Corazon, you’ll definitely love Charice‘s upcoming movie, Here Comes The Boom. We already told you that the movie centers around a high school music teacher (Kevin James) who moonlights as an Mma fighter, but now we can offer up the first information about Charice’s character, Malia! ”My character is a brainiac,” Charice told HollywoodLife.com on a conference call April 18. “She’s a musical genius. She plays piano, sings and everything. Sunshine Corazon can definitely relate to her.”
And it sounds like there will be more big-screen roles in Charice’s future, as she says she prefers acting in movies over acting on TV shows.
“I love doing movies,” Charice explained. “There’s more time for me to get to know the people. »
We can’t wait to Finally see Charice take on a major big screen role!
Attention, Chasters — if you’re suddenly craving movie theater popcorn but don’t why, it’s because your subconscious is already celebrating the fact that Charice has been cast in a new movie! The Glee star will make her big-screen debut (not playing herself) as Malia in the 2012 action-comedy Here Comes The Boom, which also stars Salma Hayek and Kevin James.
The movie is about a music teacher who is forced to moonlight as a mixed martial arts fighter in the hopes of saving his school’s music program. As ridiculous as that premise sounds, it excites me for one simple reason: where there’s a music program, there’s singing! We’re practically guaranteed another incredible performance from our girl, Charice.
Having played a mall cop and a zookeeper (in the film of the same name coming out this summer), Kevin James is next set to put his plus-sized waistline to comedic use as an amateur mixed martial arts fighter in "Here Comes The Boom" a movie which will likely find him falling down a lot. But it looks like there will be veteran there to pick him up and dust him off. Variety reports that Henry Winkler (Fonzie, Barry Zuckerkorn) has joined the film which finds James playing a physics teacher (now that's comedy), who takes up fighting in mixed… »
According to Variety, Frank Coraci is directing from a script by Kevin James and Allan Loeb. The story centers on a teacher who moonlights as a mixed martial arts fighter in order to save his school's music program.
Here Comes the Boom will begin production in late March.
Who doesn't like Henry Winkler? The guy defined cool in the 70s and 80s as The Fonz, was one of the most hysterical elements on Arrested Development as incompetent lawyer Barry Zuckerkorn, and has always come across as a nice guy who doesn't take himself too seriously. But while a guy like Winkler should be involved with funny movies and television shows, he's instead going to show up in Here Comes The Boom. Variety is reporting that the actor has signed on to play a role in the upcoming Kevin James comedy, though the exact part is unspecified. Directed by Frank Coraci, the film is about a teacher who becomes a mixed martial arts fighter so that he can raise money and save his school's music program. The script was written by James and Allen Loeb and is scheduled to go in to production later this month. Winkler previously starred »
Plus Kevin James Mma Flick 'Here Comes The Boom' Lands July 27th With the Oscars stinking up the joint last night, the awards season is finally over, and we can look forward to the now-six-month-long summer blockbuster season, without the worry of accidentally stumbling across a film with a thought in its head. But the business being what it is i.e. increasingly reliant on release dates before scripts, or a director, or cast is attached, studios are already jostling for dates in 2012, which looks at least as crowded as this year's clusterfuck of a season. The big dates have… »
I must admit that I am somewhat on the fence about the remake of Total Recall. On the one hand I certainly consider myself a fan of the Arnold Schwarzenegger film, but I also really like Colin Farrell and they seem to be taking it in a much different direction. I'm retired to a place where I'm just going to wait for it to come out and judge it on its own merits. Now I know exactly when that will be. Box Office Mojo has learned of three projects getting release dates including the Total Recall remake, the Adam Sandler-Andy Samberg comedy I Hate You, Dad, and the Kevin James Mma comedy Here Comes The Boom. All not arriving until 2012, the Colin Farrell sci-fi pic will be released August 3rd (up against The Bourne Legacy), I Hate You, Dad will arrive on June 22nd (versus Abraham Lincoln: Vampire »
