Short comic book movie
30 October 2015 | by (Berlin, Germany) – See all my reviews

"Hellboy II: The Golden Army - Zinco Epilogue" is a 5-minute movie from 7 years ago and so far the last piece of action from the "Hellboy" franchise. The director is Brooke Burgess and it's not the only short Hellboy film she made. However, I preferred her prologue to "Hellboy 2" over this epilogue. I believe this one here really would have needed the actual Hellboy character to be interesting and not just a bunch of supporting characters. I cannot even recommend this one to fans of del Toro's movies, because I am one myself and I did not have a great time at all watching this one. Negative verdict here, thumbs down. I really hope del Toro will make a third film at some point. These 5 minutes are no way to finish things.
