The fifth story of the series (episodes nine and ten) opens with a dismembered body being found at a rubbish disposal site; it was only by luck that it was discovered but even so the killer had gone to extreme lengths to remove any identification marks. There are still one or two clues though; the victim had fillings that suggested she was from Eastern Europe and post mortem injuries suggest the killer had removed tattooed areas of skin. These don't seem major clues but the detectives do manage to identify her. Of course it isn't long before he strikes again and this time he makes no attempt to hide the body. He is also playing games with the police; having contacted a reporter to give him details of the crime scene that only the police and the killer would know. One thing is pretty obvious; he enjoys killing and will continue doing it until he is caught. Away from the case both Katrine and Thomas have some romance in their lives; Katrine has met a lawyer who claims to be in the process of getting a divorce and Thomas is getting close to the wife he was in the process of divorcing!

This was another entertaining story although I'm sure most viewers will have guessed the killer long before he is exposed; not that the makers were trying to hide who it was; he is shown killing his second victim. As is often the way with such stories as the episode approaches its conclusion one of the main characters will get into the sort of position that looks likely to lead to them becoming another victim. Knowing who the killer was from a comparatively early stage did mean we could see more of his actions than would normally be the case which was interesting; especially in the scene where Thomas unwittingly gives the killer his opinions of him. There were one or two coincidences that might be considered a bit too much; a person was given a camera as birthday present and it was used to get a snap of the killer then a witness was taken to the coffee room where the party snaps were on display just in time to catch him… still it fun enough.
