Zack and Michael is a mockumentary series about two actors from New York trying to make it in Show Business. NBC discovered these guys after seeing them perform in an Off-Off-Broadway play and gave them the opportunity to document their lives. The following videos were intended to be broadcast on national television to teach America more about the life of an actor. But something went terribly wrong and the show never aired. What follows are the missing tapes... Written by

Did You Know?
The special FX in the opening scene were rotoscoped frame by frame with outdated technology by Zack Abramowitz
and Jason Friedman-Mendez
. The two of them sat side by side on separate workstations rotoscoping for 60 hours straight without sleep, only taking breaks to eat, in order to meet a deadline. They each had to rotoscope 3600 frames manually (for each saber), totaling 7200 frames. See more
Do you think it is important to stay in such great shape as an actor?
Oh yeah. Definitely. Definitely, very important. I eat only organic food, tons of protein, I work out whenever I'm not rehearsing or performing, and that's a lot of time. I mean, I have to, that is why, I'm always so busy. Because, I always have to, you know, go, and go to the gym, and go for a run, or lift some weights, 'cuz I gotta stay in top shape. I have to always be on top of my game. That's why I'm so busy all the time.
