Emma Watson introduces a new trailer for Darren Aronofsky's Noah

If early word is anything to go by, Darren Aronofsky's Noah looks like it could turn out to be a hugely divisive film, with the Biblical epic drawing comparison's with another of Aronofsky's ambitious projects, The Fountain. Kristen Wiig, Hailee Steinfeld at odds in Hateship Loveship trailer

Kristen Wiig and Hailee Steinfeld feature in the new trailer for Hateship Loveship.

Guy Pearce, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Nick Nolte also star in the drama from director Liza Johnson.

It centres around an awkward housekeeper (Wiig) who becomes the victim of a practical joke by a callous teenager (Steinfeld).

However, the joke may have the unexpected effect of finally helping the woman out of her shell.

The film was adapted by Mark Poirier from Alice Munro's 2001 short story Hateship, Friendship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage.

Steinfeld was most recently seen in Ender's Game and Romeo and Juliet.

Wiig featured in Anchorman 2 and will next be seen in The Skeleton Twins.

Hateship Loveship will be released on April 11 in the Us. A UK release date is yet to be announced. »

The Latest Take on "Romeo and Juliet" Feels Rather Generic

For Shakespeare lovers who prefer their film adaptations to be more straightforward like Kenneth Branagh’s Much Ado About Nothing and less showy like Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet, Carlo Carlei’s recent re-adaptation of the latter should fit squarely within their comfort zone, though perhaps a bit too squarely. Taking very few risks and aspiring to be nothing more than a beautifully filmed but plain rendition, Romeo and Juliet delivers great performances but in a way that feels quite bland when compared to the long list of films that have taken us down this road many, many, many times before. Baz Luhrmann had the right idea: if you’re going to take the time to commit yet another version of Romeo and Juliet to the screen, you need to do something to make it stand out from the tens of times it’s been done before. A new international poster and trailer for Darren Aronofsky’s (Black Swan) biblical blockbuster Noah have  debuted. Following in the footsteps of previous posters, this latest one-sheet shows little other than rain, water and profile shots of the characters. Thankfully there’s an element of differentiation with an olive branch making an appearance...

Noah stars Russell Crowe (Les Miserables) as the titular hero who is given a divine mission to build an ark and save creation form the coming flood.
