Storyline

The roles of Ronald Colman, even when he first hit movies screens in 1923, are usually of noble men, which matches his personal life. He quickly became a matinee idol during the silent era based on his looks, which was only strengthened into the talkies, when the movie going public could hear his melodic voice. He was cast opposite a plethora of A-list leading ladies, and in high profile productions, many of them adaptations of novels. The highlights of his filmography into the late 1930's is then presented. His post-retirement life included philanthropy and lending his time to educational causes. Written by Huggo
