Trivia

In his opening monologue, Red does several Christmas jokes and a couple of Gertrude and Heathcliffe gags. The first sketch, titled "It Happened at the Station House", features Clem Kadiddlehopper volunteering to entertain free of charge at the police officer's Christmas party but being framed by four pickpockets (the Sportsmen Quartet) for theft. During the skit, Clem and the Sportsmen sing, "Jimmie Crack Corn." In the second sketch, Willie Lump Lump makes a total mess of his home when, under his wife's orders, he tries to water a plant.
