I have seen all other five TRACES of DEATH Films, which for the most part are very well made. It's just crazy music, fast pacing consistent gore after gore, and it keeps going. I have to be honest, when it comes to being disturbing, this one has to be the tamest of all of them. If you want to start watching the TRACES of DEATH films and you want the tamest one, this one is the tamest out of all of the other ones.
And this film feels like a completely different movie that was suddenly named Traces of Death to me. It's just two long segments, one segment being the American performance artists, and the second one being the Shocking Asia segment, of supposedly Banned videos from Asia.
I enjoyed the original TRACES of DEATH Films simply because it never was slow, it was consistent with its death showcasing, here it's really slow like it was meant to be a remake of Faces of Death.
Also, it's cool that the USA collaborated with Hong Kong to make this one, the same year when Orozco was made, so seeing two countries working together to make a MONDO film is Awesome. :D.
