A poster in the background of Mom's sons' game room shows Mom in a bikini and posing to look like Farrah Fawcett's famous 1976 poster.
At the beginning of the episode, when Cubert is hooking up wires to Bender, the underside of Bender's torso is shown to be reflective. Bender literally has a "shiny metal ass".
The video game ends with an American flag as a backdrop. The flag has 48 stars, correct for WW2, as Alaska and Hawaii were admitted to the Union in 1959.
If you pause the frame before Cubert slams the hatch on Bender's bottom after he overclocks him, you'll see that Bender actually runs on a AMD Athlon II processor. The predecessor to that CPU, the AMD Athlon, along with Intel's Pentium 4 CPU, were some the first CPU's specifically designed to be overclocked by the user. While CPU overclocking had been done since the early 90's this generation of CPU's and their corresponding motherboards were the first to be designed to be "user friendly" when it came to overclocking. But if the clock settings were changed by someone that didn't know what they were doing it could easily overheat and fry the CPU, which is why it is clearly stated in the EULA for CPU's and motherboards that overclocking voids the warranty.
While the Professor is berating Cubert in the cell, 'Kilroy was here' graffiti can be seen behind him on the wall.
