The Rock Mocks Tom Cruise's Running Style in Latest Rampage Photos
With production continuing on Rampage, Dwayne Johnson has been sharing tons of photos from the set, but one of his most recent social media post takes a shot at fellow A-lister Tom Cruise. This comes just a few days after another social media post, where Dwayne Johnson impersonated Arnold Schwarzenegger. While The Rock had nothing but praise for Arnold Schwarzenegger in his post from last week, this latest update reveals that Dwayne Johnson will never be caught dead running like Tom Cruise. Here's what Dwayne Johnson had to say on social media.

"Headhunter lean.. with full grenade belt. While shooting this running scene all day, one of our producers said 'Rock you're running like Tom Cruise in his movies'.. I said stop the music right there. Nope. Cruise runs like 6 o'clock. Straight up and down, arms tight to the body like an offensive player running for the end zone. This

Ricky Gervais on 'Special Correspondents,' David Brent and Bad Reviews

Ricky Gervais on 'Special Correspondents,' David Brent and Bad Reviews
Ricky Gervais has a cold. He just flew home to England after a stint in the U.S., and he's jetlagged. Nevertheless, he worked a full day, putting the final mix on his upcoming movie David Brent: Life on the Road, which is due at the end of the week. "It couldn't be a worse time, because my ears from the flight are bad, and all I had to do today was listen to the minutiae of the movie," he says in the sort of remarkably dry tone that, unique to Gervais,

Ricky Gervais to Return as Golden Globes Host

Ricky Gervais to Return as Golden Globes Host
Hollywood has officially been put on blast as producers for the 73rd Golden Globe Awards announced Monday that Ricky Gervais will return as the ceremony's host after a three-year reprieve for celebrities. Gervais' appearance at the 72nd annual event was also among the highlights from that ceremony. The 73rd Golden Globes will air January 10th on NBC.

"I'm making a list. I'm checking it twice. Gonna find out who's naughty and nice,

Caitlyn Jenner on Copycat Halloween Costumes: I'm In on the Joke

  • TooFab
Caitlyn Jenner has a sense of humor about herself. While many websites exploded in outrage when Halloween costumes inspired by the reality star's Vanity Fair cover started popping up on various retail outlets, Jenner herself isn't offended in the least. "I'm in on the joke. No, I don't think it's offensive at all," she says in a new interview with Matt Lauer. "I know the community does, and they've gotten a lot of criticism for doing it. I think it's great." One online petition against one particular version of the costume said that it "reduces that person and community to a stereotype for privileged people to abuse," adding that the get-up will be used to "make fun of [Caitlyn] and our community." While Jenner says the idea of the costume doesn't bother her, the actual construction of some of the looks does. "To be honest with you, I think it's great

Paul Feig interview: Spy, Statham, Spider-Man, the future

  • Den of Geek
Paul Feig chats to us about Spy, working with female comedy stars, and the genius of Jason Statham...

Paul Feig will always, always, always have a special place in our heart for creating the immortal TV series Freaks & Geeks. Now, however, he's given Jason Statham his straight comedy debut in Spy, which arrives in cinemas this coming Friday.

Ahead of the film's release, he spared us some time for a chat. It didn't take long for Statham's name to crop up either...

I was watching Tom Hanks' That Thing You Do the other day, oddly enough. It's you in that, isn't it?

[Laughs] Yes! The DJ!

I finally watched the extended cut. Have you seen that version?

No, no!

I've always liked the movie. And Tom Hanks, of course, directed the film, having come from an acting background like yourself. What kind of tips do you pick up from someone like him?

Watch Everyone Take Liam Neeson’s Shit in New Taken 3 Music Video; Plus New Clip and Featurette

  • Collider.com
20th Century Fox sure is having fun with the advertising for Taken 3. A couple weeks ago they gave us Brian Mills' "12 Skills of Christmas", and now they've released a new little ditty called "Stop Taking My Shit". It's completely ridiculous, but it's also pretty funny. They've also released a featurette detailing Mills' background for anyone who might have missed the first couple films, and a brief new clip in which Mills makes a phone call, because among the many skills in his particular set, making phone calls seems to be high on the list. Taken 3 is directed by Olivier Megaton, and hits theaters on January 9, 2015. The film stars Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Forest Whitaker, Dougray Scott, Sam Spruell and Leland Orser. Hit the jump to watch. Neeson has revealed his killer sense of humor before with his appearances on Life's Too Short and Key and Peele, and

'Vanderpump Rules' is back for another season of explosive drama!

Last season ended with quite a bang (and a punch!) after it was revealed the Jax and Kristen Doute slept together after months of denial. While it seemed like the group would be divided for good this time – Jax says everyone is getting back to a good place.

"Life's too short to hold grudges," Jax said of his friendship with Tom Sandoval. "We're still trying to mend our relationships. Obviously, things aren't back to 100 percent, but it's going in a good direction."

Warwick Davis Will Be in Star Wars: Episode VII

Warwick Davis Will Be in Star Wars: Episode VII
Warwick Davis's strategy of basically daring J.J. Abrams to refuse him has apparently worked out: He's going to have a brief role in Star Wars: Episode VII after all. Davis played Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi and had various roles in Phantom Menace; thinking out loud to IGN last year, Davis mused that in the new film, he could play a bad guy or even a Jedi, adding that "a villain with a lightsaber is the ultimate goal, if that's not asking too much." He just wants people to see his face! Davis cautioned that he wasn't "dying to get back inside an Ewok suit," but after Life's Too Short, he'd probably still prefer it to a frog suit.

The Office 11 years on: What Ricky Gervais, Martin Freeman and co did next

Ricky Gervais has confirmed that The Office's David Brent will be heading to the big screen with his own movie, Life on the Road.

So as we anticipate what Brent has been up to since the end of the BBC hit comedy, here's what the cast have done since:

Ricky Gervais

Ricky Gervais played the lead role as David Brent - the embarrassing, toe-curling and cringeworthy boss of company Wernham Hogg, devoid of self-awareness but poised with an unwavering love for the paper merchants he manages.

Gervais went on to create comedy Extras with Stephen Merchant, which was co-produced by the BBC and HBO and aired between 2005 and 2007. Gervais played ambitious actor Andy Millman, afflicted with a useless agent played by Merchant. Guest stars have included Patrick Stewart, Samuel L Jackson, Ben Stiller and Kate Winslet.

In 2009, Gervais starred in, wrote and directed his feature comedy debut The Invention of Lying.

The Big Reunion Jodi Albert's blog: 3T, Michael Jackson & fax firings

The Big Reunion was a family affair this week, as '90s group 3T talked about the good, the bad and the tragic times they went through as members of the Jackson clan. Their story struck a chord with married mother-of-one and Girl Thing member Jodi Albert, who's been blogging about her time on the show exclusively for DS. Read on for her thoughts on Jackson family life, cheeky comparisons to the King of Pop and the prospect of being fired by fax like Eternal's Kéllé Bryan...

"First of all, I thought Andi Peters' jibe about Girl Thing not bothering Michael Jackson's record sales was hilarious. You can't take it too seriously - I think that's what makes The Big Reunion good. All of the bands at some point or another didn't end up working and you've got to be able to take it on the chin.

Ricky Gervais interview: Muppets Most Wanted, comedy

  • Den of Geek
Interview Simon Brew 27 Jan 2014 - 06:15

We chat to Ricky Gervais on the set of Muppets Most Wanted to find out more about the film...

This interview contains a spoiler for a costume that Ricky Gervais wears in Muppets Most Wanted. Not a massive spoiler, but thought you'd want to know

It's March 2013, and we're having a pinch-yourself day. For we're on the set of Muppets Most Wanted (still simply known as Muppets II at this point), and have seen things that would have our younger selves pinching ourselves. We'll have, as a result, a lot more on the film for you in the weeks ahead.

Our starting point though is when we're bundled into a room with a bunch of other wide-eyed visitors from around Europe. Turns out the room belongs to one of the stars of the film, Ricky Gervais. And turns out too that he's wearing a lemur costume,

A spoiler-y, slightly nerdy interview about Disney's Frozen

  • Den of Geek
Interview Simon Brew 12 Dec 2013 - 06:55

There are some spoilers - but not massive ones - for Disney's Frozen here, as we chat to directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee....

A weird start to an interview, this one. I was sat patiently outside the door of a posh London hotel, when a man wheeled a trolley of warm, nice-smelling food into the toilet. I've heard that these posh hotels cloud some bizarre behaviour, but canapes on the bidet was a new one on me.

Anyway: Frozen.

We ran a non-spoilery interview with directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck on the film's release day in the UK. But the pair also granted us a bit of extra time to chat in more detail about the film. What follows, then, is the kind of interview that it's best not to read until you've seen the film. Right from question one, in fact.

Review: 'Hello Ladies' Season 1, Starring Stephen Merchant

Review: 'Hello Ladies' Season 1, Starring Stephen Merchant
While the fate of Stephen Merchant's "Hello Ladies" remains in the hands of HBO who have yet to renew the show, it's easy to see why they got in business the with comedian/actor/writer/director in the first place. He's a longtime collaborator with Ricky Gervais, and the pair already have had two underrated shows hit the network — "Life's Too Short" and the animated "Ricky Gervais Show" — and given their track records ("The Office," "Extras") it doesn't seem to be too much of a risk to see what Merchant can cook up on his own. On the face of it, a comedy about a single Englishman living in Los Angeles trying to find love is ripe with possibility. But as I wrote in my preview of the series in September after watching the first two episodes sent to press, the result was "cartoonish and empty" and little has
