- Detective Vartann is unsettled to learn lover Catherine never told him she inherited a lucrative share in a casino. It's the murder site where handsome Brad Malone fell to his death, boxers only. Nick's team works out Brad had motives for a suicide, but left no note and fell from the suite next door, where he and a night club barman had sex with the best friends who were 'celebrating' a divorce, yet lie about their debauchery. Greg's team is confused about the domestic deaths of couple, fatally hurting his during his shower while she fell on her breakfast kitchen knife. There was no intruder, only the clever parrot, who drove the ex-con neighbor nuts, and the bird's other mortal enemy, the cat, were home.—KGF Vissers
- When the guest of a hotel falls off the balcony of a room, Catherine, Nick, Langston and Det. Vartann investigate the room. They find his name, Brad Malone, and that he had many debts, and they question whether he committed suicide. Nick and Langston note that Brad may also have felt from the next-door room, and they find blood in front of the door. The open the door and find two women on the bed with the sheet soaked of blood. However, they claim to be amnesic since they drunk too much in the previous night. Meanwhile, Greg, Sara and Capt. Brass investigate the murder of an old couple. The only witness is a parrot that does not speak. When Sara finds a cat and Dr. Robbins makes the autopsy, they check an unusual and weird conclusion.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

- "CSI " - "Wild Life" - Nov. 18, 2010
Two girls are enjoying a late-night post club stroll when a man's body falls from the sky and crashes in front of them. Of course the gang comes to investigate. The man smells of alcohol. Nick questions the girls. They don't give him much.
The victim is Brad Malone, who was in over his head gambling and was about to file for bankruptcy. Catherine gets this info from a casino guy whom she hugs in front of Vartan who exhibits a little jealousy. They wonder if Brad was a jumper.
Nick and Ray check out his room. There's no note but everything is in order as it often is with suicide. No sign of sex in his bed. But his balcony is locked so he probably wasn't alone. Ray gets prints on the door.
Sara and Greg and Brass check out a double homicide, a couple, the Irwins. The wife is lying on the floor of their trashed apartment, the husband in the tub. They were killed less than an hour ago. They had a bird and a cat, the cat is missing. The window shows sign of a break in. Cash and credit cards are still intact though. David arrives to process the bodies. Sara and Greg process the scene.
Across town the print comes up as Brad's. Nick and Ray realize he must have been pushed from a different balcony, the one next door. They and Vartan head to the room where there is a blood trail. Two women lie dead in the bed. Or at least they appear to be until Ray checks the pulse of one and they both sit up with a start.
They don't know whose blood they're covered in. They don't recognize Brad. Or more precisely they don't remember, they were very drunk. One is puking.
Robbins checks out Mr. Irwin, who was attacked in the shower and drowned after having his head bashed in.
Brass interrogates a neighbor who threatened to kill the Irwins, his next door neighbors. He admits he hated them and their bird but he didn't kill him. His alibi is phone sex.
Ray and Nick process the girl's room while Catherine processes the girls at the hospital. They have some minor bruising. Catherine goes in with the speculum as well. They were celebrating the divorce of the one who was puking. She still can't remember anything. Catherine wonders if they were roofied at a club. Their exams show they engaged in sexual activity the previous night. The one who wasn't puking is very upset, she unwittingly cheated on her husband.
Ray finds an iron under the bed that was clearly used as a weapon. They wonder if the puker whacked Brad with the iron after getting mad in a drunken rage during their menage a trois.
Greg and Sara find 911 calls regarding domestic violence calls from the Irwins. Sara theorizes that Irwin finally killed his wife, went to wash off the blood and slipped and fell and died in the tub.
Robbins and Ray look over Brad Malone's body, their findings are consistent with being pushed off a balcony and having sex.
Nick and Catherine discover that the blood from Brad's room came from another man. The three way was a four way.
Sara and Greg go back to the Irwins and the bird is still there, not picked up yet by animal control. They check the tub trap for blood. Sara finds new blood drops on the carpet, in cat paw prints. They find the cat.
Vartan and Catherine go over what happened with the women, the non-puker had unprotected sex with Brad Malone, the puker had sex with a condom with the unidentified man. Vartan can't believe the women don't remember anything. Catherine admits she was roofied one night a few years ago after a John Mayer concert. He wonders why she never told him. She says she doesn't like to talk about it. He says he's getting that a lot from her lately. Nick returns with tox reports that show the women were drugged but only one significantly drunk. The other one had been drinking, but her blood alcohol level was below the level to be legally drunk. They think she's holding back.
Vartan and Catherine interrogate her and she says there was another man, she thinks named Kyle. They met him at a bar. They brought Kyle home, danced, Brad came in to ask them to turn it down. Non-puker married lady says that Brad then raped her, she went into the bedroom where Stacy was "celebrating" with Kyle who claimed it was now his turn to have a go at non-puker, Brad entered, Kyle freaked and pushed Brad off the balcony.
Hodges shows Ray trace evidence that leads back to a bar called the Pillow Club. Ray and Nick go to check it out. Kyle actually works at the bar. He has the mark of being hit by the iron on his head. He says the girls are lying. He claims the puker asked for the GHB and had her friend drink it. He had consensual sex with the puker, offered it to Dana, she declined and hit him with the iron and ran out. Then, he says Brad came out from his own room next door to make sure everything was okay and walked the non-puker back to her room and he, Kyle, went to the ER.
Robbins is telling Sara that he doesn't think the husband killed the wife and actually points the finger at the bird. Seriously. Hodges and Sara process he animals. They present Brass with the theory that Mr. Irwin was showering with the bird, the cat jumped on the shower curtain startling him and causing him to slip, fall and hit his head. The bird flapped back into the kitchen at Mrs. Irwin who freaked and fell on the coffee table while still holding the knife and accidentally stabbed herself. They can't figure out how she dialed 911 without getting blood on the phone though since her hands were covered.
Kyle the bartender's ER story checks out, which means he probably didn't kill Brad and Dana lied. They realize Brad's death was an accident, he fell off the balcony while they were having consensual sex on the railing. Dana confesses and says she loves her husband and kids but that she only has sex with her husband twice a month. Catherine says she's not being charged and lets her go.
She goes to visit Vartan and says she's not being dishonest, it's just that she doesn't believe couples need to share every single thing. She says she's had a lot of complicated relationships, this is who she is, she asks him to not try and change her and she promises she won't try and change him. So that's it, he asks, take it or leave it. She tells him to call her when she decides. He's not happy.
Greg and Sara are sitting in a conference room telling the bird they found it a good home. Greg accidentally cuts his finger while slicing an apple. The bird hops over to the phone, knocks off the handset, dials 911 and screams "help me, help me!" And the case is solved.
