Storyline
Detective Vartann is unsettled to learn lover Catherine never told him she inherited a lucrative share in a casino. It's the murder site where handsome Brad Malone fell to his death, boxers only. Nick's team works out Brad had motives for a suicide, but left no note and fell from the suite next door, where he and a night club barman had sex with the best friends who were 'celebrating' a divorce, yet lie about their debauchery. Greg's team is confused about the domestic deaths of couple, fatally hurting his during his shower while she fell on her breakfast kitchen knife. There was no intruder, only the clever parrot, who drove the ex-con neighbor nuts, and the bird's other mortal enemy, the cat, were home. Written by

Plot Synopsis
There are two crime stories in this one. That used to be the case routinely the few first seasons of CSI but it isn't done much in recent years. Both cases are fairly interesting.
The solution to the second one - an old couple with a big parrot and a cat - found dead with one stabbed to death in the chest and the other with head trauma in the shower is the most insane, craziest scenario I've ever seen on CSI.....but I had to laugh. You know it was played for laughs, anyway, the way it worked out.
The first story is a kind of kinky, sordid one with two women out on the town, getting totally hammered and then waking up with blood on their sheets in a hotel room and a man dead from falling from their balcony. This story has tons of twists and turns and everyone is slime-ball in it. Even all the CSI workers have some smart sexual-innuendos remarks en route to solving the case.
