Did You Know?

During the close up of Dr. Holloway's dead body floating in the aquarium, the fingers of his left hand move about in a manner that shows they are made of rubber or other soft material with no "bones" inside and there is a slight mold crease visible on the inside of his right hand/wrist in the lower left hand corner of the screen. Elliot Gould Still Acting at 73
12 December 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This was a "shark" war with competing casino owners apparently trying to do the other one in. One owner put another shark (not easy to do, but it's explained on the show) in a pool to harm someone and drive the business away to the other's guy casino.

Along the way, a "vet" gets murdered, too. How was that done?

Meanwhile, one of the casino owners was played by Elliot Gould who was in his acting heyday 30-40 years ago, although he has steady acting work at the age of 73. He sounded a little wooden to me. For an actor of his experience, I found that a bit odd. Then again, Scott Wilson was the same way when he played "Catherine's" father on this show 4-6 years ago. Wilson had a lot more life to him when he co-starred in "In Cold Blood" in the late '60s. Maybe it is time catching up to both actors.

Whatever, the episode is decent; nothing super, but interesting and entertaining enough. It certainly was a lot better than the season's lame opening episode and will keep you guessing right up to the end.
