The CIA instructs Michael to prove his mission leader skills. So Sam, Jesse and Fiona, all with dubious reputations, must officially assist him dealing with Liberian war lord Joseph Kamba, who bought an abandoned plant to have a missile assembled by scientist William Resnick, whose teenage daughter Sophie is held hostage by his goons in a villa. There is no way that Sam could have overheard their conversation, and no way that Jesse could have relayed that information to Sam.
