Storyline

While the team is after artillery smuggling by ship from Algeria, Jesse demands the team finishes the job after he spontaneously stopped port worker Hank from being bullied by mob goons. Mike poses as a rogue FBI agent to offer a trap deal to their boss, Tony Caro, actually a vassal of a major New York crime family, whose ruthless envoy, Gio Russo, is urgently demanding more profits. The first set-up failed, but now Sam impersonates a New york hit-man to lure Tony into going for a quick major catch. Written by KGF Vissers

Quotes

[first lines]
Michael Westen: [narrative] Spies come from all walks of life, and no two are exactly alike. But whether they're a burned former operative, a beautiful bomber with a temper, or a hard drinking ex-SEAL, they all share one trait: punctuality.
Sam Axe: [laughing, pointing at girl at bar] Hey.
Michael Westen: [narrative] Showing up on time means you're 15 minutes late.
Fiona Glenanne: [throws origami crane at Sam] It's noon, Michael! Where the hell is this guy?

Sam Axe: Look, I wouldn't mind, honestly, if Jesse just ...

Cool quote
17 May 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

"Military leaders since the city states of early Greece have known, that tried and tested methods of getting rid of an adversary is to provoke into an attack a more powerful enemy.

Provide an ambitious adversary with a backing of a seemingly invincible army and he is bound to go hunting for even his toughest rival...

Making sure your adversary is eliminated, then becomes about pulling that backing once he has declared war on his rival, when it's too late for him to take it all back."

This quote is a good example of why this show can be so addicting. Some of the drama is a little played out, but the military references make the show every engaging.
